Hawthorn Burl bowl

In the burl of a tree, the grain transitions from root structure to tree structure  sometimes creating stunning shimmers, swirls and flares.  This is one of those rare pieces that has it all. The bowl is 1/4 inch thin but the surface looks three dimensional.  Finished with food safe polyurithane however
