Valley Oak Natural Edge Bowl In Progress... A nested set of bowls turned from a 150 pound Valley Oak log. The largest is 22" X 14" at the rim and stands 10" tall. This majestic tree was taken down in Marin County due to disease however the arborist was kind enough to set aside a few pieces of the trunk one of which produced this one-of-a-kind set of natural edge pieces. The wood is still drying, however once the finish is applied I expect the grain a rich earthy colors to look incredible.
